One Park Lane is approved and site preparation has started, according to the developer. The tower itself has not been built, and the builder had not been named in the developer’s updates to late September 2026. This is a summary of what the developer has reported during 2026.
The year so far
- February 2026. Site preparation began, starting with asbestos removal and demolition of the existing buildings.
- May 2026. The developer said it had chosen a preferred construction partner, which it described as a long-established builder with other high-rise projects under way on the Gold Coast. It did not name the firm.
- June 2026. The land titles for the site were issued and registered, following a land swap with the Queensland Government.
- August 2026. The developer said more than 100 buyers held reservations and that contracts would be issued in stages.
- September 2026. The developer told buyers that contracts were about to be issued and that a builder announcement was expected soon.
What is still to come
Three things matter most to a buyer from here: the name of the builder, the terms of the contract of sale, and the construction programme. The developer’s stated completion timing is 2029, which is not guaranteed.
If you are considering a purchase, ask for the current position on each of those when you enquire, and have an Australian solicitor or conveyancer review the contract and disclosure documents before you sign.
